@Dave. This morning, the size of the type when I log in, and when I type into a message box, has become so tiny I can hardly see it. The type on the rest of the screen is "normal" size, although the position of items in the columns has changed. I've tried re-starting my laptop, but that didn't help. I'm not getting any problems on other websites. What's changed here?

It sounds like at some point you may have inadvertently zoomed out in your browser. Trying going to View and zoom and reset to normal and I bet that'll do it.

My view/zoom is 100%. It's only in the message box that the type size is reduced. And there's more wierd stuff happening now. When I try to give an Acorn, instead of the Acorn being awarded, I just get sent to the start of the thread. And it won't let me insert an Emoticon, either. Waaa!

Have you made recent changes to your computer, or to the settings of your browser? It sounds like javascript may have gotten disabled.

To my knowledge, I've done nothing to my computer! How do I turn Javascript back on, if it's off?

I've just tried clicking on the Compatability View icon, but it didn't make any difference. I can't find anything about Javascript on my browser's toolbar & drop-down lists.

I'm getting very frustrated. I'm going to log out, turn the computer off, and let it - and me - cool down. I'll give it an hour or two and then try again.

I'm having the same issue. I've made no changes.
I garden for the pollinators.

I'm seeing the same thing this morning. Nothing has changed on my browser since yesterday.
As I'm typing the message it is very tiny, as is the 'preview', and 'finished' buttons. The upload an image is the proper size.
I also just noticed a new emoticon. Thank You! And some have changed places.

Hmm, well, if multiple people are having a problem then it's not on your side but on mine. I will have to look into it.

Strangely, though, I have changed nothing for several days. This morning I updated the smilies to add the "Thank You" smily, but that was done after this report was initial reported.

Tara I see you are inserting smilies in other threads so that's not your issue. What are the problems you're seeing?

Up until just now…I had the tiny type, and tiny preview and finished buttons…But as I'm typing this everything seems back to normal! Shrug! Thank You!

I went away, came back, and HOORAY, everything is normal again. I was starting to feel paranoid, but I see it wasn't just me having problems. Do you think we were hacked, Dave, or did you let the gremlin out for a romp? Big Grin

Well, we definitely weren't hacked. Smiling I'm not exactly sure what the situation was but I fixed it by specifically giving a font size for the textarea box where one types into.
