A lovely species delosperma. I love it Greg. Is it winter hardy in our zone 8?

Julia, it was at the show last Saturday. Her eare some other things from that particular booth.
The wonderful little low fired ceramic pieces of garden art. They would have to be brought in for winter.

These couple of pots are small: One pot from a small local nursery and other pot made by our glass artist ATP member, Otter.

Of course, there's still the ones I bought in Paris but they aren't as small as the pots above:

Hi Lynn, I still lurk around. Just don't always have the time to post much but I enjoy the posts. Heading to the Bahamas for two weeks in April. Had a great time in Little Cayman last Fall. I would post a few UW pic's for you but I flooded my UW camera on the first dive. Not sure when or if I will replace that. Not this year for sure. Ric and are going to a local Flower Show this afternoon and then next week will be the big one Philadelphia Flower Show.
Looking forward to seeing more of your pictures.

Well, Holly you just made my morning become boring...reading about your going to upcoming Garden Shows (one of which I pretended to have gone to by coming onto this Portland Garden thread) and then your upcoming trip to the Bahamas... Rolling my eyes. See how my morning with eggs over rice is becoming more dreary as I type?
Anyway, maybe you could pick up a few decorations for your fish tank project while in the Bahamas... Big Grin

Oh I have plenty of boring days, too. But I rather like them. Seems like we are always on the run for some reason. I am retired and sometimes pick up a short temp jobs. Life wasn't so exciting a few weeks when I was spending my day hand dipping strawberries for Shari's Berries.

Bev, those pots are just waiting to be potted, and you don't have the weather excuse I have.

We are strictly forbidden to eat anything but after the week was over and we finished our last day they gave us plenty of finished product as a bonus. I got several doz of them which I delivered to all my children's families as a V-day gift. Saved a few for myself and Ric, too. They sure are good.

Marilyn, I know what you mean with the Frost date in Mid May. How high is your altitude in Greenwood?
I used to live in 7000 ft altitude outside of Santa Fe proper and I have experienced the wait for outdoor planting till May. But in winter and early Spring, my mind got used to not thinking of gardening at all (think exercise and TIVO ), so I did not have the pangs that you do with the weather and waiting and temptation to "take a peek".
Do you think there's something about getting onto ATP that makes the wait worse than it should be...??? Whistling Hilarious!

Could be the enablers on this site, make it harder to resist. Yep nodding

Everyone taking pics of their babies creates a real temptation to see what mine are doing. I am just a few feet higher than Denver's 5280' but it is the wild swings we get that make it tougher.
Last year we had a really hard freeze about May 5-7th ... It killed a bunch of my plants that I had uncovered and moved
around to table tops and planters shelving.
