I love these guys...and gals...but I can never get a good photo while I'm watering. I have a whole commune of them but they are so camera shy. The babies are so cute. This is a Dad I think.

I challenge you to get a way better shot of one and whoever gets the best photo receives a painted lizard for their garden!

Our friends back east love to see our lizards. I love to see their hostas.

I love them too, cute little things. I like the very pale ones, almost abino looking, that hang out on my living room window, by the porch lite at night...looking for bugs to eat!

This is actually what happened today but I was shy to admit it:
I look out my bedroom window and see two lizards....in a row on top of the block wall. One is sunning herself. the other, the male I'm sure, is doing the push up dance. I thought it was some courting ritual.

Had this one is house over the winter. finally got him caught and put out before the poor little thing died.

I LOVE IT!!! And the texture of the curtain is great against his green!!!

I was so afraid I would find him gone to lizardheaven, I knew as soon as it got warm I put him out.
Didn't fight at all. I would spray the mirror in the Bathroom and it would go get a drink. I loved it!!!

We have a Blue-tailed Skink, but they are really fast and Talk about camera shy they are too!
