I run a web site on wildflowers of southern California. Basically it is a documentation of what I see on my hikes. This year promises to be poor in wildflowers because of the severe drought, but go back a few months (April May June) to see more wildflowers. (I get no money from this web page. It is just for my enjoyment and the education of others.) You don't need to be a Facebook member to view it. https://www.facebook.com/Wildf...

I have a Canon G9. It is a point and shoot with options for manual adjustments that I never use.
