Hi Neil,

I have a few appearances in my garden, spring is arriving at speed now!

The Fritillaria Imperialis, and the yellow Fritillaria Imperialis 'Maxima Lutea' are in the garden house, bit surprised to see them in flower already, the ones in the garden are not in flower, but are maybe 18 inches tall so far.

Quite a few of the different narcissi are up, but Primula Denticulata are the only primula putting on a show so far.

The season will soon be in full swing. I tip my hat to you.

Even though I was born and raised in England, and have lived in a few other countries I had to totally change my ideas on gardening when I moved to Florida. So, I took the Master Gardeners' courses, and have been one for six years now.
And, Nancy -- glad you won't be seeing that doctor again. Disgraceful to keep you waiting that long. We usually have to wait an hour, but don't mind because our doctor takes all the time that is needed and goes over everything (these visits are usually for my husband). We feel lucky to have her.

Some of the crocus are in bloom as well as small irises 'Katharine Hodgkin' & 'Harmony'. the daffodils next to the wall are showing buds, but still have a way to go. Ticks are active--drat it!

Dearest Lady Nancy, I am most sorry you have been ill. It annoys me that a woman of your most positive and indeed subtle beauty, should have to suffer at the hands of Doctors.
We too have suffered from a flu virus, that has spread around and caused havoc, amongst the population. Too much rain and a mild winter; combined with the odd cold snaps has set this off.
I most dillengy went to see my Doctor; after three weeks of suffering. The most erstwhile young lady Doctor told me to stay in and drink lots of liquids. It hs cost a small fortune in malt whisky; well she did say to keep warm! So a hot bath and a rub down with the R.H.S. Garden magazine, has worked most spectacularly.
All my love from a cold England.
Neil.

I think that my flu shot was cheaper, but didn't taste good. However since I can no longer drink liquor because of my medication it had to do. Sorry that you have not been well.

To you all, much love and my most kind thoughts! We are slowly getting over this virus which is a nightmare of a thing. Sarah is much better now and back at work, but I am still recovering, albeit faster than predicted.
I have missed you all so much, you are the best there is.
Now I am back, just have to take it easy for a bit.
Hugs and tons of love to all.
Neil & Sarah.

I'm glad the tree fern is ok. Almost 80° F here. I can't work very long at that temp.

No, no garden. I have a small terrace which I will have loaded in the summer, but anything else will have to be grown in the appt. I have great light and should be able to grow anything.

Hugs

What will flower in the winter? We don't have great light, but I have an angel wings begonia which was given to us when Jumper 2 was born. It was several yrs old then & she is in her early 50s. Do you grow Christmas cactus?
