Long ago in the time before video cameras, we had a cocker spaniel who lost her babies before birth. My dad had just picked up a little orange kitten who was lost without its mom. One day we looked out the kitchen window and saw the kitten's butt and tail sticking out between Honey's legs. Yep, the little sweetie was nursing and Honey was so happy to have a baby. Nature is a wonderful thing. Love that video, Alan. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet.
Remember Brenda's doggies lactating for the puppies. I forget the details but it was an amazing nature story.
Thanks, Alan!

So sweet! Susie, that was when daughter Millie helped her Momma Rossi nurse the litter of puppies. It was amazing. Especially when you consider that Millie had never been pregnant in her life, and yet she lactated. I will mention that we kept one of the puppies from that litter, Hercules we call him, and he is GIANT size for a cavalier! Apparently double dipping at the puppy buffet was like 'Miracle Grow' for dog, LOL!
