Patricia is always spectacular! You weren't exaggerating about the tall spike on that laelia! Hmm. Dialaelia Mizoguchi 'Princess Kiko"...Small plant with large blooms ? That's what I need these days.

I'll have to look up that Tricopilia. I really like the one I have, and I need to stick with those that don't need the real estate to produce nice sized blooms.

Pretty Dendrobium, Ursula. I gave another orchid presentation today and I do a rose presentation on Thursday. I'm just too busy to post and I really need to get on the taxes and the Master Gardeners come here on April the 3rd.

Help!!!

That sure is a pretty thing, Ursula, and an interesting re-potting method, too! Big Grin

Elaine, the outside pot only serves to stabilize the smaller pot, but I really need to give it a more stable " shoe".

I will take a pic of the Kyoguchi x, now that one was truly potted on twice.

I hear you Jim, hang in there. I am having a good time playing with my grandchildren this week. Smiling

I woke up to rain at 5:00 AM and it didn't stop until after noon. Too wet to plow as they say back in Indiana. Out in the OC, I have a couple of new ones that have opened. First up is Lc. Canhamiana v. Coerulea 'Azure Skies'. Obviously a purpurata cross.

Then, this little Phal., Guadalupe Pineda, produced one flower and a bud to come.

It is, and the little Phal looks a lot like the one you bought last time we went to Apopka. Such nice colors on there. How big's the flower?

We didn't get nearly as much rain as you, sadly. Drizzle when I got up this morning, breaks of sun, then one good downpour about 1pm for about 15 minutes. Crying

I have one Phal getting ready to pop, but other than that, it's pretty sad looking around here. If it wasn't for Gerberara, Green Hornet and the little Canary it would be downright bleak! Canary's almost all done, too but the wonderful 'weed' Gerberara still has several buds to open.

Ohh, I like the pretty Phal!! And 'Azure Skies' is a beauty!

It is supposed to rain here for hours, so far we just got a drizzle. I really could use a good downpour as my rainwater containers are pretty much empty!

Heh, don't you love "weeds" like that! Thumbs up

So, remember the old Monty Python skit about the dead parrot? We're not dead, we're just resting. At least the 'chids are!

I do have one new bloom this morning, a tiny first flower on one of my golden yellow epi's. Then I tried some backlit shots of the Gerberara, since it was in the house last night and the sun was coming in the windows at such a nice angle. Enc. Green Hornet has 3 flowers open on one spike and one on another this morning. It has a strong fragrance! Nice but too strong to be close by if it comes indoors.

My Phaius are finally coming along, I'll put the shots of the buds in 'Anticipation' just to make you click around and not get bored.
