As we are all waiting for ol' man winter to go away, thought it would be fun to take a picture today from the same view as one taken in summer.

Here is mine!

We are suppose to have one more night below zero then it is suppose to warm up for the next few days. As soon as that pile softens a little I'll help the plants out by shoveling most of the snow off. Spend all winter piling the snow up and early spring spreading it out so it will melt. Rolling my eyes. Sure will be nice to get outside and do something...fresh air, sunshine....even if it is shoveling more snow!
Lisa, I can just imagine sitting at your table nestled in among the daylilies, I wish I had planned a spot in the garden for a table and chairs.

Rolling on the floor laughing I've been eyeballing the snow covered display garden thinking just that! My mind has been rolling around an idea with a large electric cable spool I snagged when my son built his house. If I put down some patio blocks, get some tall chairs it just might work for a table in the garden. I'll have to measure height to get the right chairs. Thumbs up

All these pictures remind me that I must take lots of pictures this summer and document what I have photographed.

It will take a lot of organization and time, but that is my goal. My son will help me with storing the photos in folders in a Facebook account where all may see them. He is more computer savi than I am, and he wants to see me succeed.

Most of you have a photo library from which to draw lots of images.
Next winter I plant to have a well-organized library of plant and garden images.

I don't have any large beds, just littler ones that are scattered. And fall clean up... what's that? Smiling Took the snowy pics today, and it's actually kind of nice out. High is suppose to be about 50. It will be fun when they start blooming again!

Char my entire yard still has lots of snow it is at least two plus feet deep no ground to be seen anywhere plus some areas have large drifts as high as six feet. I am not about to go out and take pictures, it is in the process of thawing as today was in the 40's, there is just so much to melt. We never had thaws this winter our temps just stayed to cold with no warmups.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!

I really wish I had taken pictures of my snow covered beds because we had record snow this winter. We have had a lot of snow melt so no sense to taking pictures now.

It was the same here this winter Betty, cold and the snow just kept piling up. We had two nice days this past Fri & Sat. with temps in the high 30's, just a tease...the pile in front of the pot shed (image above) hasn't budged and now they are saying 12 -20" for Wed. Will spring ever come?

Cats1, those yellow daylilies are a warm ray of sunshine!
