@ssgardener Hi Silver - thanks for that info...I feel like the first year that I had aeoniums I watered more and they rotted, but, they were in a window sill that got cold, so think that was more the problem than watering, but since then I've treated them like my other succulents...I will try that next year though! It may save me from being so disappointed in these plants every winter nodding

Just got to bring this one home..Zamia furfuracea - cardboard palm

Last Saturday, we were at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show, just got 2 little ones..a pelargonium and one cute cacti.
This is the cacti we got, called Rebutia muscula, I love the way it clumps and the thorns, are so soft..not at all prickly. Reminds me of kitty fur Big Grin It is said to have bright orange flowers, so will see if it will provide me with some.

Yeah, the succulents prefer our tender, loving neglect. Big Grin

Well, we are having some rain forecast here, hoping and waiting for some rain..it is beginning to go cloudy and dark, so I pulled out my problematic noid cacti, better out and dry indoors, than torture it with rain and further damage the remaining good babies.

Just showing here what it looked like before and after..I should add, prefer tender, loving neglect but must keep dry in winter if outdoors Hilarious!

It has been drizzling the whole day and the succulents seems redder in some parts..wet and nicely chilled:

Tarev, the head of the aeonium is so far away from its pot? Does it have a long neck?
