Yes, it has grown a longer stem Smiling

Used to be this short when I first got it in 2007:
Thumb of 2014-03-27/tarev/56cc59

It would drop the lower, older leaves before summer comes:

Sideways view of the Aeonium right now: has been trying to get as much sun as it can Smiling

Looks like the big aeonium could use a little padding on the part of the stem that is leaning on the pot...sort of like my old knobby knees needing a garden cushion pad when I kneel to prune/tweezer/spray my semp beds... Hilarious!

My hubby is worried it might topple down, I told him not to worry, it seems ably holding itself ..and that stem feels quite hard and firm Smiling

What I really want this plant to do is to make new babies..still hoping!

I have another Aeonium I got in 2012- Aeonium hierrense, this one is more generous in making babies.
When I first got it in Feb 2012:
Thumb of 2014-03-27/tarev/becf7a

by April 2012, had to repot since it is getting bigger and has quickly made two new babies
Thumb of 2014-03-27/tarev/ecd975

I made another repot of same plant in May 2013: adding other succulents
Thumb of 2014-03-27/tarev/b15d72

Mommy plant enjoyed the bigger pot, grew big fast, and shelters the smaller ones with her wide leaves:

Got some new plants over the weekend, as we get on and off rains..late season winter storm..but we will enjoy it, need that rain here!
Lewisia - love the blooms on this one! I am keeping it by the window for now, will repot in awhile.
Thumb of 2014-03-31/tarev/925a38

Echinopsis chamacereus - also getting ready to bloom, all so wet too, so hiding by the window to dry out.

Great looking blooms on the cactus. You may remember I got a bag of succulent cuttings last fall and have rooted them indoors over winter. Lost a few things, but others have done well. Yesterday the weather was feeling like Spring, so I took them outside for a little sun. The ones in the largest planter were just replanted from 2" pots yesterday. The one in the lime pot is sedum Rubrotinctum. A lot still need IDs.

Here's a Portulacaria Afra Varigata that grew some over the winter.

Glad your cuttings survived to make it to bathe in sunshine, Susan. I noticed your containers, (rectangle green and oval black) that I was looking for all last year and couldn't find any. This year I see them everywhere. I have one rectangle that is the "go to" planter for any interim plantings that I don't know where all the plants will end up finally. Love that these pots are so light weighted.
