@webesemps - where are you seeing pots like that? I am looking for Adenium pots and nobody seems to have the low ones.

Hetty, I got the green square planter from eBay. I noticed that Bed Bath and Beyond have it online, so you might want to check their store if you have one close.
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.co... They were hard to find here last year too, but I found the black oval one in the photo above at a little greenhouse that sets up in front of a grocery store every year. They also had a round low one. I think as succulents become more popular, they will be easier to find.

Hetty, I saw a lot of them at Orchard Supply Hardware; check out their website for Ella planters. And here's link to a discount coupon they have on planters...

Our very cold winter has resulted in a few sad succulent sights ...

Sad Crying

I was dumb, or maybe optimistic and planted two tender succulents out a few days ago. Now there's snow on the ground and they are hanging their poor heads.

Most of my succulents in pots went into the garage or house, but I did run out of room. And I actually overlooked the two above. I lost my Manfreda 'Macho Mocha' as well. I really hated that since I grew the little plant all the way to bloom and being able to take an offset for a second plant.

Susan, I hope yours are okay.

Aww sad Sad same here..have since pulled out my noid cacti, still letting it dry out and leaving it alone inside the garage..
My flapjacks mommy plant took a hit as well..but it is now actively recovering with newer pups.
Have just brought out my Desert Rose again, time to wake up this little muscleman.

My Euphorbia tithymaloides has been indoors all winter long, and still indoors right now..at first I am not sure if it is slowly drying down, since it is not growing any new leaves, although the existing ones are truly colorful with the reddish edgings.

Glad to see today that there are now some new growth showing up..woohoo! It is still alive! Hurray! Hurray!
