Name: Alma Phoenix & Cottonwood, AZ USDA zone 9b, Sunset 13 & ??
Has anyone grown these here? http://www.umassvegetable.org/... I like Daisy Martinez' cooking show on PBS and she often uses ingredients I'm not familiar with, including this little pepper that looks very much like a Scotch Bonnet or Habanero. This one is sweet. She uses it to make sofrito.

I have 3 little seedlings going under lights right now. Mine are called Aji Dulce #2 but I'm pretty sure that they are the same. Advertised as having all the flavor of a habanero with very little, if any, heat.

I have seeds from a seed exchange last year on Dave's. I will be planting to see if I can get them to germinate this week end. I have Guajillos sprouting now, and hope to see my Alpeppo's peak out soon.
I have recently discovered Aleppo Chili Powder. What a great chili flavor! If you save any seeds from this years crop can I get some from you?
