If anyone is interested in ordering quite a few native milkweed seedlings, Monarch Watch is offering flats of 32 seedling to plant. Check the list for what's available for your state, if anything. For some reason, some states don't show any available.
I'm just hoping the drought will let up soon here. It would be hard to raise seedlings long enough to get them established outside of my yard without any rain...and there isn't enough room in the yard for that many plants.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
