The image on page 2 is of a Opuntia pinkavae i THINK
the image on page 3 is of a opuntia microdasys i KNOW
i dont know flower colors but the o pinkavae or whatever was from foothills of Wasatch mtns down by salt lake so it can take cold cold cold. Another hint is that it is the first prickly pear to start growing in the spring. the o microdasys or bunny ear cactus is hardy to 20 they say but mine went down to 18 for a few wet nights and seems fine, also starts growing fairly early.
Welcome!

made 2 more of these today, super easy just split a round into 2 and then split those into 2 again, screw together with 4 3 inch screws and nail any sort of back on it.
I might put chicken wire on them or not, they can be leaned up without losing soil.
on a interesting side note. I got the rounds from my neighbor who had a renter cut down a tree in front of here house to a stump because it would grow 20 ft a year. I think it is empress tree because the leaves are huge. It is easy to work with and has no knots in it even where there was a branch Confused but it is not the $$$ wood the internet would have you believe, it smells astringent and have huge open grained rings, also no pith Confused
anyway ! just wanted to share Sticking tongue out

I think several factors come into play with pricing your own work. You should consider time spent making the product, cost of raw materials, and how much your time is worth making it.
I tree-mailed you with more details.

Good points, Bev. And also the size and type of flea market. In the city I used to live they would fetch probably twice what they would fetch in the town I now live. The city obviously had more people, but it also had a much higher concentration of people interested in supporting local artists and craftmakers.
Hippie city versus redneck town. Not disparaging either, just a totally different mindset. Sticking tongue out

Good points, JC. I've also noticed that the event venue makes a difference. A juried show versus a flea market or farmers market brings out clientele of different economic means. Again, like you say, "not disparaging either, just a totally different mindset", but with different sized wallet... Whistling
