Ok Mark, you got my last Acorn. Untill I get more. Very nice. Here's some of my Euphorbia's. I have them in pots so it is easy to transport them back inside come October. Also I just mounted that 6" heavy duty gutter along my porch railing. It gets morning sun with some afternoon and almost no rain due to large overhangs. Works great for me.

such a good idea i just banged one together, btw how are you supposed to install gutter hidden hangers? i assume at an angle to avoid bending the ##$$@#@# out of it, would be alot easier into wood... go figure Sticking tongue out

now to figure out what deserves space up there.... i think i will use it for plants that i dont think will grow down below due to moisture not cold... i dont think it will do anything to keep the plants warm

It may be cool to have sedum repestre (Angelina or Blue Spruce or something) hanging down from the gutter!
Or also any of the Epiphytes would be cool, also cause they'd hang down! Thumbs up

If space premits, you could have hung two across. Just watch for over watering. If you put drain holes, watch for stains along the brick or drill the holes on the outer side facing you. I kept mine dry using plants in pots because I will take them back in come October.
Yours looks nicer than mine. Good job.
Stush
I might use a gravel fill to hide the pots inside of the gutter.
