This is your plant in photo 2. Mine bloomed last year so, hope it sends up some pups. It was beautiful!!! Once they bloom bye bye unless I get a pup this spring.
Your pictures are wonderful. I have always wanted to visit when those are in full bloom. That Trillium is wonderful!!!! That area is so much further along than here. My trillium are just pocking there heads up. Thanks for the pictures.
Lynn for presenting photos of your jaunt thru the Spring growth of NorthwestGardens.
My favorite is the first photo for its colors and composition. I have the plant pictured in the 3rd photo and also don't know the name of the plant. I purchased it solely for its interesting foliage but the leaves can get awfully long and cause the stems to sag. May have to try and find out the name.
Cool pics
Love those Helleborus, the nice big trough... all!
Wondering what that plant is in the pic right under the yellow Narcissus.
I like the look, and it seems to be almost blooming.
Calin, that is the first time I had seen that plant in person, so I didn't know what it was either. Turns out to be Fritillaria persica. The leaves are amazing, then these dramatic dark blooms.
I really wouldn't know for sure. Fritillaria really not that long. I only keep records (if any) of the sowing date, but then I never mention germination or anything else.
Cardiocrinum took really long. Probably from summer till next spring. This is their second spring. And still just one leaf.
I'm at work now (I do all my forum-ing at work... more free time - LOL).
At home I seem to get distracted.
IF I find more info, I'll let you know.
