Temps are getting cold, so those begonias and coleus can't last too much longer. It's 45° right now. Also we had a broken water line underground a couple of weeks ago, and needed a whole new line. so the yard doesn't really look so good...

A broken water line is no fun. Good part is, if there is any, it didn't happen at the peak of summer

That churned up soil just looks like a freshly turned flower bed to me, waiting for nice new plants.

In the spirit of Halloween my husband decided it looks like a giant grave. He had a fake hand sticking up out of the mound. A neighbor asked if I had buried my husband there. I said "No way. I've already told him he's going to be a compost ingredient when he croaks!"
