All my nectarines are coming up on their 5th year in the ground and all were purchased bare root.

Gold Mine - Nice full tree but hasnt produced. Looks like I'm getting flower buds on it for the first time.

Panamint - Another nice full tree. I have gotten of nectarines off it before the birds did. Good tasting. Looks like this might be the year for a bigger crop. Its covered with blossoms right now.

Snow Queen - Very few nectarines to date. Taste is good.

Ray, your yard must have a wonderful fragrance with all these fruit trees in bloom!

And bees!!!!!
My orange tree is ready to "take off" with all the buzzing from the pollinating bees.
Good looking orchard, there, Ray!

Great blooms, but I got no fruit from Panamint this year. Only a 3 year old tree though, so it gets a reprieve for two more years. After that, no fruit, and its gone.

I'm not real impressed with whats going on with the nectarine trees.
The bloom was fantastic but the fruit set was less than fantastic.
I might have a handful of fruit that set on each tree.
My trees got the warning that if they dont get there act together they are going to end up being wood for my smoker.

That's the way Ray! I like your "re-purposing" philosophy.

LOl Ray. Our nectarine tree has been in the ground one year and we had pretty good production this year. They were small though
