Hard to say ... did you see the other photo purpleinopp has in the database of that plant?

Yes. Seems much smaller than the one in question here, but I can't sometimes tell anything about sizes from the photos.

Can you add a pic of the back of the leaves? It looks like it's making pairs of opposite leaves?

It is making leaves opposite one another, then they seem to sort of spiral so that not all the backs and fronts are facing the same way. Not very clear, but maybe you can see what I mean in this photo that shows some backs. Also forgot to mention that the color of the leaves is blue green.

I'm leaning toward Kalanchoe or Crassula to investigate, but lost on any species names to suggest. If you are able to give it more sun, you might see its' true nature better. It looks really starved for light, whatever it is, which can make plants (especially succulents) look abnormal/different, though not at all saying this isn't a cute little plant as-is!

...in which case, it might not be as etiolated as I think.

hmm ... only one photo of Spatula-Leaf Crassula (Crassula spathulata) in the database and it sure doesn't look like the plant in question.

Lots of interesting ideas. I will get more photos after it has spent the summer outside. I have a number of other succulents that are very elongated from growing inside over the winter.

I think the photo of Crassula spathulata in our ATP database is wrong..that plant looks more like Crassula muscosa pseudolycopodioides - watch chain crassula
