I want to buy some fruit trees and ran across this site. I am interested in buying cherry, peach, apple, pear and apricot. I am concerned the pear and apricot may not do well here in our heavy clay-like soil but I didn't see the offered on a rootstock that would do any better. I looked at Start Bros site and they don't even list the rootstock. I'm wondering how well peaches do in heavy soil and if there are other fruit orchard sites that I should look at before I finalize an order?

I have ordered trees from Grandpa's Orchard, and was very very pleased with the quality of the trees they sent. I combined my order with my neighbor's and we got 6 between us. All of them were great and did well. I got a Peach and an Apricot, and he got 2 peaches 2 plumbs and 2 cherries. All are doing well. There seems to be good comments on the Garden Watch dog about them too.
