I bought this thinking it was thyme, but not so sure what it is now. It did not have a label with it.

Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Is it oregano with no smell?

Glen - I don't really smell much of anything from this plant. The leaves look too small to be oregano. I have an oregano plant and it doesn't look like this one at all. I know thyme can look like a ground cover, so that is why I thought it was thyme.

Becky, this a photo of my thyme plants. They have small fine leaves. And are highly aromatic.

Glen - Thanks for posting your photo for comparison!

It sure looks like mint, but, if it has not smell, well...

Glen (and Linda) - Guess what???? I was at the nursery I bought it at today and found a few others and one had a label in the pot ....

It is Italian Oregano!!!! Still small sprouts but mine is beginning to expand in leaf size and in overall size and it is starting to look like the other Italian Oregano that I have.

Glen, you were right!!!!! Thank You! Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up

That's interesting, Becky. There's no scent to this one? Did you crush some leaves yet or do a taste test? I'd be interested in the results when you do. Smiling
