Thread OP
TX (Zone 8a)
I always start my maters and peppers from seed.
I was reading about using saltpeter to start peppers & wondering if it is worth it ?
At our ranchiito we do NOT keep bees.
They and other critters grace us with their presence, and we provide for their need to the best of our abilities.

It will speed up germination. If that's desirable for you, it would be worth it.
I garden for the pollinators.
