Probably what you are seeing is a Philippine Violet (Baleria ) and to the right Dianthera nodosa ( Pink Brazilian Shrimp Plant ).
We do have Azaleas but they are in a different part of the yard. We have a LOT of yard.........

Going to help a friend in her yard today.........................seems pulling someone else's weeds is always more "fun" than pulling my own!!!!

Anyway it sounds like something some group would do somewhere, and meet at each others various gardens periodically to weed. A "WU" instead of a "RU", or maybe it could be a "WURU"!

Oh, I'm here. Just still getting all the to-do list done. Sold the house down south so on to the to-do list here. Furniture shopping, both of us had to catch up on our dental stuff, old computer gasping the last breaths so got a new one -- it's a Mac so there's a learning curve, old printer won't work with Mac so get a new printer, moving all info. from old computer to new one, exploring for flooring re-do, etc., etc., etc.....and the beat goes on......
I think I will not be able to *really* get into the garden until next year.

We moved from Hobe Sound to Lake City. Way down south to way up north but still in Fl.

I had to go look back and I'll now have to research Hobe Sound. It sounds beautiful. I have an Uncle who lives in Lake City. We aren't close though.

After 2 days of some rather strenuous yard work, my shoulders are a bit unhappy this AM. I've come to the conclusion my Passion vine is not coming back so I want to get over to Ace & pick up 2 new ones today.

Tomorrow I'm going to the Earth Day Festival at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. I've been told they will have some very nice plants for sale. Perhaps I can find something I "need".

I have 10 small Kings Mantle & about as many Loripedilum cuttings I'm attempting to get growing.

I need to get the camera out there today.

Take pic's from the festival too Jean! We'd love to see 'em!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.......................perhaps I have a plant that you don't!!!!! Let me find the pic for you from work we did on the gardens last week. Currently covered in large purple flowers.

After reasearching it after seeing your pretty bush;.......I do have it. Its Thunbergia erecta. It was named WRONG!!! We who grow it know how floppy it gets and your Blue Sky Vine is its cousin.

David, I think your plant may be Thunbergia battiscombii, T. erecta is well.....erect ! A bit more "shrub" like, with smaller leaves than T. battiscombii.
T. battiscombii is floppy, has larger leaves and grows at the speed of sound.
