That would be my guess as well. Especially if the seeds came from the Island of Sardinia.

It does resemble Oleanders (Nerium oleander) but blooms will tell for sure. Hope whoever owns the plant in question gets a correct ID. Great idea of sharing the ATP database link, maybe they will join us here! Green Grin!
