Coleus held up well to our 108 degree temps yesterday, in morning Sun.... It is trying to go to flower, so I have been cutting off the flowers.

Actually, the Colus and the oleander vine are holding up well to the morning full sun till about 11:00AM. The Oleander Vine is putting on new sets of leaves since I got it. I do not see any burning at all. I can't wait to see those lavender flowers on it.

Lobelia seed has found it's way from some pot far away, and into a perfect spot to re-seed and bloom, next to one of my Blue Ice Cypress, and a Arizona Poinsettia seedling.

Red Mandevilla still holding up well. Not as many blooms but lots of buds still showing up.

Very nice, Alan. If your pretty flowers get through the heat that's coming you should celebrate! Smiling

The only thing I'm worried about not making it is the coleus. I was just curious how much heat/full sun it could take. If I see it start burning I'll move it. I thought for sure yesterday was going to be that day! Oh, and a bit worried about the red mandevilla too!!

The shrimp plant I was able to get at Summerwinds nursery. If interested, you might check there, they've had it several times, when I've gone nursery hopping. This is at the Summerwinds on Country Club Drive/Arizona Avenue, South of Guadalupe, North of Elliot.

Nice Alan...very nice.
The reason most people fail instead of succeed is because they give up what they want most for what they want at the moment.
