alan, that was me the first several days of last week. i had to get the brush out to the curb for bulky trash pick up. i was out there around 1a. every little move i made was detected by dogs throughout the neighborhood. i felt bad for a second then went about my business. haha! dogs should be asleep at that hour, right! : )

Detrcik, I love the size that I am gardening in but there is twice that space behind the swing. It's more than I want right now so I ignore it a little bit....planted my cantaloupe back there though so it has lots of room to roam!
I think a patio home would be perfect for me....someday!

Yes, I'm thinking when I retire, a patio home just may be the way to go.

Thanks Brenda. I love doing the quotes. I use to do them on my website and emails. My website was shut down a few years ago. It was becoming more work than fun, so I just never have brought it back up again.

WOW, it's been 2 months since I posted anything to my garden! But then, summer blooms are rare. Fall has brought a resurgence of the Morning Glories and these white ones are gorgeous. I got them in a bag from the last swap.

These pink ones came in the envelope too...I threw all the seeds in a 10 gallon pot and every morning I have a mixture of MG's.

This is Grandpa Otts and it's anothe plant growing up the old patio.




This is one of the hot pink MG's...there is also a soft pink. Totally different type blooms.

And last for this morning is the Blue Dawn that Barb gave me...the vine is eating my back yard and I love it! You can see it to the right in the photo...the snail vine has taken over the swing.

I am waiting for a long overcast cool day to tidy up the garden. I went out to water this morning and realized my space looks like a near jungle!!! Amazing what growth has happened in 15 months!

Brenda! I've missed talking with you!!! No I didn't soak them...just threw them in the potting soil. One of the highlights of my day is to go see these every morning. Today's including the Grandpa Otts, a hot pick, light pink light purple and lots of the white ones that have various striping of purple.

I have a week off the end of October. I have a lot of catching up to do in the garden. Especially the back yard.
