@dave there is still a discrepancy between the count on her profile page and the count that appears in the category when you go to her list.

The answer to that must be that some of her plants are not categorized.

I did a random sampling of mine, taking into consideration that I have a few things on my wish list too.

Drop down list 91 218 43

Doesn't show it the way I had typed it out with the appropriate spacing so I hope it's clear.

So the Rose counts are as follows in those three categories

The irises I counted (scrolling through my plant list) 19
The iris total listed in my profile 19
When I click on my plant list (from the profile page), the irises listed in the sidebar category list 21

Ok, I didn't realize that the numbers were also printing on the left hand side bar so I fixed that, too.

All should be correct now!

As for the dropdown, that counts them based on the genus in the database, so it isn't using your categorization. The number can differ if you have, say, 87 plants in the genus Rosa but you only put 86 of those plants in your "Roses" category.

Ah, finally figured out what you meant, Sue (click on Lists, then "View your list").

Yes, everything seems to have the correct tally now.
