Lily twins that is! This is the first seedling(s) to germinate out of 9 seeds planted on 2/1 from an Anthony harlequin cross. I saw something very weird and thought I had double planted seeds. Upon further inspection both were coming out of one seed! I wonder if both will survive. It's that crazy Aussie fertility.
I've had twin embryos before too. You can usually see them in the seed if you back light them. They usually both germinate then one croaks off. Keep us updated as to how yours turn out!
Interesting! I don't recall ever seeing any twin embryos while sorting, even. But then, I only check a few seeds per pod. Now that you've captured my attention, I'll be keeping an eye out for it, too! Real interesting, Joe.
