Rolling Raven survived the summer in the pot under the veggie garden shade - lol. It's putting out more leaves and will go in the ground in the next week or so!

Thanks for the comments!

This next intro is a very hardy bloomer for me and was TUFF against the harsh elements that our desert climate presented.....

This daylily was named after some of our roughest terrain.

SUPERSTITION SPRINGS (Dye, L. 2012) TET LP-9048 (EXOTIC TREASURE X (BLUE LAKE ) 27” EM, Ev. 6”. 5-6-way branching. 25-30 buds.
Beautiful clear orchid flowers with plum violet eye and edge above a yellow to green throat mark this cultivar. It is this combination of flower size, color clarity and bud count and branching that makes this cultivar very special.SUPERSTITION SPRINGS is a great breeder for eyed and bordered flowers in a variety of colors. Very pretty. Fertile both ways.

Thanks Charleen! I will be blooming seedlings from this one in the coming spring.

Thanks Margaret! The color is more pronounced in person, the eye and edge has nice blue lavender cast and the blooms are usually closer to 6 1/2 inches. I have set pod on this one when nothing else will take pollen.

Hurray! Beautiful! That is a very soft pink!

Lyle, someday when I have a garden again, I need to get some day Lilies. You do such amazing work.

balcony living is interesting and a challenge but fun too. I just need to be selective with what I grow in pots.

Interestingly, that while red is my favorite color inside, I prefer pinks, yellows, purples and blues outside!

Thanks for the comments - All of my intros do well here in the desert and i hope to have 2 more registerd before the deadline.

There is no problem with daylilies in pots here in the valley. The daylily American Doll has been in a 3 gallon pot for 2 years and may stay for one more year, or be bumped up to a 5- gallon or sold which ever comes first.
