I helped beta test the Garden Planting Calendar Garden Ideas: Master Level Cat Lover Birds Region: Tennessee Echinacea
These beans were sent to me as 'Mennonite Purple Stripe' but they don't seem to match photos online. What do you think? Anyone recognize these beans?

@joseph might know. He has a good eye for this type of thing.

The only thing I have learned from reading about beans is that over time, there could be some cross pollination; what starts out as 'Mennonite Purple Stripe' in planting seeds from the original package could look different in the saved seeds at the end of the season.

That looks very close. The sender also noted, "dry pole bean".

No, There are just too many beans that look alike. I also don't grow dry pole beans, rarely dry beans of any type. My experience in beans is pretty limited.
