I'm amazed to see how long the scape lasted & how many buds opened! It never would have occurred to me to try this. I love the picture with multiple daylilies in a vase! Will definitely try this. Great way to start off daylily week! Thanks Chalyse! Hurray!

Would love to see a photo in the forum and in the database (can tag as a multi-plant photo if more than one cultivar is used) if you get the chance to try it! I'm going to try it for the first time this summer, myself. Glen really opened up a new avenue to explore with daylilies by doing this! Group hug

I'm impressed by the amount of daily care given to an arrangement, that is true devotion! Lovely bouquets.

Thank you. I must admit I was surprised the whole four buds opened. Blinking But I think Tina was quietly confident we would get all four.

Well, I was confident in Glen's gardening wizardry ... if anyone's cut scapes could grow out new buds like that, it would be Glen's! Thumbs up An inspiration for my new year's resolution to give the DLs just a tad more care this summer. Group hug
