I have a Peperomia from the rainforest in Brazil, there are 76 (!) species only in the area I took photographs of the plant. No photo material is to be found on the web of the vast majority of them.
But I did go through the whole list of them recorded in the 'Flora do Brasil', only having the reference of Herbarium species

I found that my plant is likely Peperomia adsurgens but cannot be absolutely sure. Rolling my eyes.

Any time, Myriam. I'm delighted that you're back from your trip with a new busload of photos. You're such a generous and important member of this community. Smiling

Yes, Zuzu I'm back from the beginning of February from plant paradise and have a new busload of photos! Most of them are edited by now and put in a first rough order.
Getting them named though is a whole challenge and time consuming as my knowledge of tropical plants is very limited! I try to find ID's myself before overloading the Plant ID forum.
