I have probably made a mistake buying this plant after reading Wikipedia.....is it an invasive low growing spreading ground cover looking plant (like you see on dunes)? It is described on its label as a large (4 x 4) cascading shrub with continuous blue flowers throughout the summer. Thanks for any info.

I'm going to assume you must have Vitex rotundifolia. From everything I can see out there on this species, it's turned into a serious problem in a few areas of the country.

Have you already planted it?

Oh sorry!.....it is called a Beach Vitex Bush. I was sure hoping it was another variety. The chaste trees do so well here. Well, probably lost money on this one and will not plant it. Thanks guys!

Well...Beach Vitex is the common name for Vitex rotundifolia. No other Vitex species shares this common name as far as I know.
