You can also give fish oil, some people use the people ones. I buy the salmon oil for pets and put a squirt on Lily's food.

Ann, thanks for the link and info! That sounds like what I need. I've been using coconut oil on her skin, and then let her lick the rest from the spoon. It seems to help too. I use it on my skin too, good stuff!

And if it gets too bad you can give her (I assume she's a dog) Claritin or Benadryl if it's allergies. Benadryl made zero difference for Pearl but Claritin has made a big difference. Google online for the dosage for your dog's weight. Just Google Claritin dose for dog allergies or Benadryl if that's what you're using.

Coconut oil is good stuff. I take it myself. Course I take fish oil also. Good for the heart and joints and that is for people and dogs both. nodding

It is! I've been using it in cooking too. Thumbs up

I've also started "oil pulling"- swishing coconut oil in my mouth for 20 minutes in the mornings. I was skeptical, but I'm seeing results! I have a touch of gum disease, where the gums were receding away from a couple of teeth, and by golly its growing back!

Well, before we get this thread so far off track that it has to be moved to the Parking Lot, back to little blue bulbs. Muscari are starting to bloom here.
The regular M. armeniacum, Valerie Finnis, Christmas Pearl, and M. aucheri 'Ocean Magic' are all starting. Oddly, Christmas Pearl is blooming alongside the rest, although it is supposed to be an early blooming form of M. armeniacum.

This Muscari was here when I moved in, and didn't show itself for the first few years. I think the spruce tree had spread so wide that it was usurping all the sun. I'm curious what kind it is, because it has no autumn/winter foliage, which I rather like.

Those look really pretty. I always love the blue coloring. And now they have newer varieties that are more blue than ever before.

Interesting about the oil pulling. My dh has gum disease & he's become "long in the tooth".

That's a pretty color muscari - I like it!

Anemone blanda blue shades just keeps getting better and better! Valerie Finnis is such a great color. M. aucheri Sky Blue is more open now and I'm liking the varying shades of blue.

Ann, long in the tooth describes what I was seeing. I did not expect to see the results I am, and surprisingly swishing the oil is not nearly as unpleasant as I had thought it would be. I do it while I shower or am busy doing something, and it takes my mind off of it.

I forgot these shots of the neighbor's Squill from 2014. We are way behind this year because of the snow.

The neighbor's squill keep coming my way. I will take as many as I can get too! They grow in my vegetable garden that is now shared with daffs and daylilies.

I planted beans with my irises last year. Rolling on the floor laughing

Muscari aucheri 'Ocean Magic' is coloring up nicely. I found bunches of seedlings around them, and started wondering if those will come true?

The top stays white, and I can't remember for sure about the lighter blue part, but it seems they kept at least some light blue.
