I am trying so hard to steer clear of it. The PA at the dr's office said if I get a cortison shot when I get the first itch it would help tremendously. Last year I did just that and it didn't get full blown but within a week I had to have another for the same poison ivy.

I had it so severe 2 yrs ago that i would do anything to stop the itch. I would take a towel and rub it so hard till it bled. I also pinched it until I was black and blue. My upper arm was covered as I didn't see it hanging above my head My dr also said it gets worse each time not better. Now I am petrified to get it.
