Potatoes are coming up:


I covered them with more leaves, and keep frost cloth over them, to keep the chickens from digging them up:

And, put the frost cloth back so the chickens can't dig them up

Anyone know how deep in the soil a potato bug will bury itself? I thought I would dig up that much out of my 8'x8' potato patch, and put it where the chickens can dig through it.

I always thought that potato bugs were only on the plant.

They taste like onions,too. Should have been purple onions at least!
