Is there any reason not to grow snap peas and morning glory vines together? Other than possibly making it hard to find the peas?

Your thinking is to use the MGs as support for the peas?

No, not really. Just using the same support for the peas as for the MGs. I have a couple of large pots sitting next to a chain link fence and was thinking it might be fun to mix the edibles in with the pretties.

morning glories groww taller ... so after they got going .. you could remove some of the lower leaves from the MG's to give as much sun to the peas as possible... the amount of available sun seems to be the only reason not to double crop them.. I'm sure you'll water and feed them enough..
It sounds like a great idea.. food for the body and soul on one trellis
