Ima Big Timer & Lady Wu just knock me out. Also love Mint Octopus. Bullfrog kisses is no lightweight either.

This is the first bloom on 'Heaven's Portals' this year. I know...very ratty looking bloom, but it has received four inches of rain and high winds over the past two days, so I figure it is doing good to be blooming at all.

I kept looking at the rain totals for Lillian, my brother and his wife live in Fairhope, it was amazing to watch the total rise as the rain fell.

My very good, long-time friend has lived in Lillian for the past year. Moved there from Marietta, Ga. Her back yard faces the beach and the water sloshes up into her yard. She said that every time the lightening flashed she saw the water rising, but it never reached her house. Scary!! I'm her adviser because I've lived in FL for 14 yr. Through a lot of really strong storms. We talk almost every day and I try to give her tips on what to do and how to plan. Told her to look at it as a learning experience and make notes. We talk about what food should be in the cabinets and what kind of weather radio to buy. I love her and we are like sisters.
