I finally finished cutting up the 2 trees in my front yard that blew over a couple of weeks ago.
Now I have a nice stack of Acacia and Mesquite firewood! About 1/3 of a cord is my guess.
Do I have a fireplace? Nope!
Do I have a firepit? Nope!
What am I going to do with it? Take it camping I guess!

I guess with all this snow and rain you'll actually be allowed to build a fire at a camp site? Careful about stacking... not near the house!

I never stack firewood, or any other wood for that matter, near the house. Termites, rats, mice, black widows, scorpions and a bunch of other creepy crawlies find that sort of thing irresistibly enticing.

Dan, Tony and I have just been amazed at the affordability of firewood in our little town in Colroado. When we think back, that we used to pay $5.00 for five logs to burn in our fireplace (in AZ), and now we pay $5.00 for a full truckload of it, it kind of blows us away. So, you could sell it on the street corner, giving 7 logs for $5.00... and make a killing! That wood is like gold in AZ!
