First time it's bloomed for me.

This is one I'm thinking I may set the pot on the ground next to a tree, let it do it's thing, but then I can still rescue come winter.

Beautiful photo mj. Sounds like a plan. Is your weather warm enough for these guys to go outside now?

Evan every thing has pretty much been outside for a few weeks except for what I can't figure out where I'm going to put. Blinking Or....things I waiting to start poking thru the soil. I have such a big garden area things sometimes go MIA ...All the Philo's, Anthuriums, Hoya's, Orchids, etc have been out too for the last several weeks.

Here's photos' of a couple of the beds.......these are on the south side of the house/driveway, between our riding arena and the greenhouse and barn.

These are all the mostly shade areas, rest is very sunny, mostly perennials.

You guys are killing me!! I'm between 2 and 3 weeks behind with Spring bloomers and have no idea what to do with things I'd be planting in a couple of weeks. mj your yard is fantastic. More lush than mine in July. I can smell it. I was seriously looking at a weight lifters belt the other day and no 40 gal. pots here.

Thought I'd have a hernia with all the 45 gallon pots! Wouldn't you know I get everything moved out and we have severe thunderstorms forecast for Tuesday PM and Wednesday all day.

Drew you need to get yourself a mini forklift. That stinks, just get all your babies outside ! Hopefully not too much damage.
I had just gotten the majority of mine out a few weeks agon when we had a cold snap come thru. 80º at 6:00 pm and 49º the next morning. Everyone seemed to handle it ok...I figured it wasn't too long a duration.
