Any clue on this tiny leaved dasy.
Thumb of 2014-04-27/chickhill/c00f93dasyphyllum very tiny and smooth, good growth, was a 3" pot, 2013. Planted into a 8" square pot last fall.

Thumb of 2014-04-27/chickhill/f026a9dasyphyllum 2013

Thumb of 2014-04-27/chickhill/bb2243 dasyphyllum suendenmanii, very tiny and fuzzy, this was a 3" pot from mail order, fell apart when I tried to transplant, most of it died. 2012
Thank You! for any help

Awesome dasys chickhill.

Did you know that all of those tiny leaves that fall off the plant will root and increase the colony? Just sprinkle them on the top of the soil.
Your first photo appears to be Sedum dasyphyllum.
I am not sure what the second one is. We will have to do more research on it.

I love my Sedum dasyphyllum suendenmanii. Once yours gets going you will love it. It does seem to take some time for it to colonize. Very slow growing compared to the other dasyphyllum that I have.

I did let them fall on top, I think it was to hot. I had a lot of trouble getting the whole batch going.
The second one is also from ebay, it was labeled Major dasyphyllum.
I tip my hat to you. Group hug Thank You! Ladies

Here is a photo of my dasyphyllum 'Major'. It really does seem to take time and patience for these sedum to get going. I've had mine for several years and this is what it looks like now.
Truth is, they have been moved several times. Wonder if that is the reason it took forever for them to make something noticeable? Whistling
I also got mine in the summer, and I put them in full sun. I now know they don't like full sun here.

I tip my hat to you. I agree in process of getting all sedums moved back to morn sun/eve. shade. Our summers are getting to hot. I like the hyper-tufa for sedums, I think they like it. Smiling Group hug

They really seem to like the holes in the cinder blocks, it's kind of like hypertufa.

Here is one of sedum pots, a mini vertical wall...the pot doesn't have a hole drilled in it, so I tipped it sideways!
In looking up 'Love's triangle' I saw that it isn't a dasy its an anglicum - no wonder they look different. So I'm thinking that my plant in this pot is some type of Sedum anglicum. I tip my hat to you.
This first photo shows it in place on my pagoda stand

I love that display rack Greg. And that is definitely a lovely dasyphyllum. Lovey dubby

Chick, since I put the dasy in the cinder block it has been very happy. It must provide something it loves.
