Does anyone recognize this?

Celia -- I have a yellow like yours -- I call it NOID Brite Gold. I don't have a picture of it -- I'll try to get that this year -- but I can't help you identify yours because I don't know the identity of mine.

And I have no clue on the purple one -- sorry.......

They're lovely no matter the name but my neighbors keep asking. Lol

I would name them "love" and "want".

I ran across a lot of yellows that color when I was trying to ID my pale yellow NOID. There were a lot of beautiful bright old yellows. Take a look at 'Ola Kala'. It was a Dykes medal winner in the 40's, I think. Can you post a picture so that you get the falls straight on?

It looks very close if not dead on.

It does not look like Ola Kala to me. BTW - I think "Ola Kala" is a late blooming iris.

What's PBF?

A reddish/purple "staining", or coloration at the base of the leaves. Sometimes quite dark in color, and sometimes very faint....Arlyn

PBF = purple based foliage

I don't see any purple.
