Would it be quick & easy to divide the "manage your list" into have list and want list like the "look at your list" is?

I have >1,000 wants but just a few haves. It would be easier to keep my haves current if I didn't have to weed through all my wants. And I don't WANT to reduce my WANTS!! Hilarious!

I think I can do that.

I've been planning to do some updates to the lists feature and that's getting pretty close to the top of my TODO. I'll see what I can do!

BTW _ it's all your fault how huge my want list is. You and your "random plant" picture! Rolling on the floor laughing

That would be a great feature. I've only used My List for my own plant inventory so I wouldn't muck it up with a bunch of wish-plants. Still trying to get the inventory complete, but if I could segregate out the 'want' plants that would be lovely.

For now, I created my own Wish list so when I add something I am looking for, I only place it in that list so it includes all kinds if plants. For my separate trade list I have them in two lists, the type of plant and the Trade list.

I'm not lazy, but I have less energy than I used to.

I maintain a Wish List in One Note on my computer which is always evolving - as I buy something I delete it, and keep adding to it. I'm hoping it may be a bit easier using the My List function and I can then use the comments section to note where I am thinking of placing it (often that part of the equation totally eludes me when I finally find a plant I've been searching for...). I assume (haven't tried) the lists can be printed out, correct? If so, can/will we be able to only print "Wants" or "Haves"? That would be great - I could print a shopping list prior to a nursery run. And perhaps print a master inventory list at season end if I feel the need for a hard copy.

I keep a wish list in Excel and email it to myself every time I update it. I get my email on my phone so I always have it when I go to a nursery. I am currently working on adding a HAVE list to this file so I stop rebuying stuff I already have!

LOL sorry critter, guess I didn't explain it well enough! If you click on my profile, you'll see that I decided to make category lists, like Iris, Roses, shrubs and Trees, etc. and I also have a Trade list and a Wish list.
If you click on my trade list http://garden.org/lists/view/C...
In the status column, it shows that I have it as a plant (or seeds etc., ) and also which category/ list this plant is placed it. The first one is in my TRADE list as well as in my Perennials list.

I use my ATP lists the same way Jennifer, so handy to be able to look up things on the phone right there in the nursery! Thumbs up

I've updated the lists and this functionality is now supported. More about that over here:
