I think that would look pretty on my arbor in the front yard. I have Rangoon Creeper on one side of the arbor. Maybe I should plant one of these on the other side? I think the two would make a nice combination. The yellow roses, tied into this plant with the yellow flowers and the red seed pods, then moving over to the Rangoon Creeper with the red booms on the other side...hmmmmm....

See what you did, I went and ordered it!! Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling I asked them to hold off till the first week in October to ship. I hope they will do that. I ordered the 1 gallon size. That way it will have a good start going into the winter, and a better root system in the pot. I can just dig the hole an plant it, rather than baby'g it till it gets big enough to plant.

they also have 2 variegated asciatic jasmines. I loved their foliage. figured they will do well in part shade. I am tired of looking at green leaves only. so I placed an order. one of them reminds me of the snow bush you had ordered.

That's an interesting Jasmine, it's more like a ground cover. I didn't see any with blooms, just the colorful foliage. Does it have blooms with fragrance?

So they would need shade?

I am guessing since most variegated ones need shade.
Alan since you also like fragrance--as you know some tgts carry australian plants. They have some melaleuchas that have very fragrant leaves. most of their flowers look like bottlebrushes. I bought a couple--one of them is tea tree where tea tree oil is produced from. I have them in containers in full sun on a drip. so far they look very happy despite our heat. Marie bought a few she is trying too. FYI since tgt will close their garden stores soon. they are one gal plants for about 5bucks each.
