I believe the author is/was based in Kentucky or W. Virginia. I did favorite it on my old XP machine that does occasionally run for me but recent searches have come up empty. Originally found via another no-pay forum but again searches there haven't turned up what I'm looking for. Good chance I saved the entire article to the old Dell, she gets grumpier every time I prod and I really want to save that last prod to cull my best pictures to an external drive. That machine literally growls when provoked. Growls and clunks.

Article had good info on H. Citrina and more. I was thinking this was it: http://www.brianmahieu.com/day...

Perhaps the article is deleted or missing or it was another author?

Any assistance appreciated!

Brian did a lot of work with older daylilies with some pretty impressive results. I don't know if he was looking for tall, but he sure had a lot of tall UFs. I tried to grow his SCANDINAVIA here but it was so dormant it never bloomed before it died the second year.

Yes Tina, that's the one, has lots of nice northern hardy UFs.

My "Rocket City" plants have gotten so tall, around 51", that I'm having to move them.
Didn't expect that to happen.
Good to know "tall" is a selling point.

I like them tall because of my lower back issues. I won't buy any that are under 26" unless I really, really, have to have it.
