Thank you for all the warm welcomes.

Carl you have a nice clump of Conjuration. It is one of my favorites as well. I agree that it is a great grower and the number of blooms per stalk is amazing. It was one of my first to bloom and was almost the last as well.

The stalks are full of blooms. I took this photo after the first blooms had already died.

Love the blooms

Conjuration may need to be staked because of the height. Very hardy, though.

Polly started this thread asking to see some clumps. I was bored today so started going through folders. I have shown this seedling before but here it is in a clump......

Conjuration is one of my tallest iris but I have never had it fall. We had a heavy rain and Conjuration was still standing, but Glacier Point and Harvest of Memories both went down along with a NOID blue. I think the others might have fallen because they need to be moved to a sunnier spot.

Paul, I love your seedling and the pink and purple in the back. Very nice!

The clump of Conjuration was taken in the Breezeway Garden during the 2010 AIS Convention in Madison Wisconsin. There had been a fair amount of heavy weather during that time and the clump was pretty much unaffected. There's a reason it won the Dykes medal in 1998.
I now have Conjuration (about a year) but it has yet to bloom for me.

Paul -- that is a drop-dead gorgeous clump of your seedling!!! Lovey dubby Wish I could see it in person.

What is that Iris directly behind the clump, with the darkish purple fall?
