I needed a place to bring up things that don't belong in the other existing threads. This is the place!! Anyone is welcome to use it.

One of the clumps of Irises in my fenceline bed is blooming. It is *Clarence*. This is the end of the bed where I am going to clear out all the Irises there to make room for new ones. I have Clarence elsewhere, and need to rehome these rhizomes. There are four or five rhizomes there -- anyone interested in having them? You'll have to take them soon -- not waiting until July or August -- I need to move them out of there while I can see what they are. LMK!!

I had to look it up. It's beautiful. I'm making a new bed this year but I don't have the room yet. Sigh...

I have plenty of Clarence but if anyone out there is needing some jump on Mary Ann's generous offer. Clarence is a good bloomer and it stands out in a garden. I love mine.

Quite pretty. I am helping a friend start a garden of mostly purple and yellow iris so I would be happy to take a couple of the rhizomes off your hands. One for my garden of course!

If there are still any left, I would love to have one. Thumbs up

If anyone else is looking for homes for overcrowded, or unwanted, or homeless irises...I know just the guy who would take them. Whistling

OK -- I will try to get a Clarence to everyone who responded. They are all spoken for now.

Okay -- I have an Iris that was given to me as a NOID. I have tried to enjoy it just for itself -- but that's not the way I'm made. This Iris has a name, and it's just too pretty not to know it. So here's a couple of pictures -- any ideas at all please?

It's difficult to see in my photograph-- but the falls are actually creamy yellow background with the burgundy dots. Also there's an area just below the beard that is a white bib.

The standards are butterscotch in color, infused with burgundy.

The picture doesn't do it justice -- it's a beautiful Iris!!

Just at first glance it kinda looks like Surreal to me. I will have to do a little more investigation.

The person who gave it to me doesn't have Surreal on his list -- but that doesn't mean that he didn't have it at one time. I looked at Surreal in the database -- it does look like a close match.

Thanks for the suggestion, Lori! Smiling
