I just love the unusual growth habit of that plant as well as the leaves! I've googled and looked at many Begonia's but haven't found anything at all similar. I even thought it might be Pelargonium and googled for those too ... nothing so far matches. Hopefully someone will come along with an ID soon ... I really want to know it's identity! Green Grin!

LOL, Janet beat me to it ... I've been googling and googling and finally found 'Cathedral' which I thought looked the closest!

https://www.google.com/search?q=begonia+cathedral&tbm=isch&t...

It is one GORGEOUS begonia and Thank You to our "Super Sleuth" Janet for identifying it! I think I might have to put this beauty on my wish list. Green Grin!

Just checked out a GHW...might have ordered it if their shipping wasn't so expensive !

Taylor Greenhouses has it, better price and...their shipping is much more reasonable.........

Got here too late, I could have told you the name as I have had it for years, mine has been in a small pot forever, poor thing, but it sure doesn't mind one bit. It gets morning sun through the window in my dining room and blooms regularly. Sometimes I forget to water it and it gets bone dry, still doesn't care. It's one tough begonia. I need to add some updated photos soon, plus I bet it would be so happy if I repotted it.

Thanks everyone. You are wonderful. I tip my hat to you. I read somewhere today that 'Cathedral' was introduced into the US, from Australia by Steve Talnadge in the 1960's. "Fiji Islands" is a similar but smaller.
