I was being silly. Of course, we don't consider it bone chilling until it dips to at least 63°! Whistling We'll still be in shorts at Christmastime during the days.

We wear sweaters so seldom that I've bagged a bunch to take to the women's shelter. I don't own a wool coat anymore. Just not cold enough. My ski jacket is warm enough for the occasional freeze.

I do like to look at photos of snow, though!

Get out your raincoats, Texas! We are going to have a good soaking rain tonight and part of tomorrow in Austin. Supposed to be 2 to 4 inches of rain per hour tonight. We had flood warnings popping up on our phones last night ....24 hours before the actual rain is due! The cold front and the hurricane are supposed to collide tonight. I pulled almost all my caladium pots onto the patio. I'm afraid that much rain will shred them (and my daughter wants them for her backyard party next week) Whistling .

I hope they are right about the rain. Every time I look at the radar, it looks to be moving off to the northeast...

We're supposed to have heavy rain overnight and all day tomorrow. Weather guy said it was heading your way. Confused I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I think I misunderstood. The high today was in the 60s. That's when I'm out in it feeding the cows or whatever and day temps usually are warmer than that. At the time I sent the post it was around 50F. It's been cooling off into the 50s at night for a couple of weeks now. No frosts yet, but we got really close last week in terms of temp. I didn't believe it would get that cold so probably dodged the bullet on things I left outside unprotected.
