Hi! I Have been trying to find out what type of flower I have seen growing in the town where I live. I do not have pictures of it, but I believe it is some type of lily. It has a base of wide grass like leaves that is about a foot and a half in diameter and about that tall. It is green until the dead of winter and blooms in late spring and all through the summer into the early fall. It has very pale pink flowers that are trumpet shaped and about 3 inches long. They grow in clusters of two or three on the end of a stalk. I thought they were angel trumpets but they do not resemble any of the pictures I have seen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if what you saw were Crinum lilies. There are a huge variety of them but your description certainly fits.
